About the Role
Are you reliable, friendly, and looking for a dynamic role that gets you out and about? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with a major nationwide retailer to recruit a dedicated Customer Delivery Driver for their Edinburgh Hermiston location.
As the face of the brand on the road, you will meet customers in their homes every day. This role is about much more than just driving; it is about helping people, providing great service with a smile, and enjoying plenty of variety with no two shifts the same. You’ll work independently for much of your day, with a supportive team back at base whenever you need them.
Availability Window
We ask that you are available to work during the following evening periods:
Sunday: 18:00 – 23:00
Tuesday: 18:00 – 23:00
Wednesday: 18:00 – 23:00
Thursday: 18:00 – 23:00
Friday: 18:00 – 23:00
Saturday: 18:00 – 23:00

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Upkeep: Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
Safe Loading: Load the van safely and complete all necessary checks to ensure it’s roadworthy and reliable.
Customer Communication: Talk customers through any order changes, substitutions, or short-dated items in a friendly, reassuring way, offering refunds when needed.
Careful Handling: Handle all products with care, treating every order as if it were your own to maintain high quality and trust.
Timely Deliveries: Deliver within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep.
What We Are Looking For
Driving Licence: Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
People Person: Warm, welcoming, and able to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
Adaptable: Quick to respond to changing customer needs and comfortable embracing change on the road.
