Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a dedicated and resilient First Responder (Band 6) for their dynamic First Response Team.
This role is ideal for a passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker looking to make a direct impact in mental health crisis care. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions, risk and safety management, and comprehensive safeguarding support to patients experiencing acute mental health distress.
Crisis Intervention: Assess, formulate, and support individuals and families presenting in heightened states of distress.
Risk Management: Conduct clinical risk assessments and implement robust contingency and safety plans.
Holistic Care: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways, championing dignity, privacy, and choice.
Communication & Support: Maintain effective communication with healthcare teams, families, and carers, and participate in regular clinical supervision.
Professional Registration:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration (Part 3 or 13), OR
Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration, OR
Social Worker registered with Social Work England / GSCW (with ASYE completed).
Experience: Substantial clinical experience in mental health care and treatment relevant to crisis services.
Skills & Knowledge: Proven ability in clinical risk assessment, contingency planning, and working with individuals/families in crisis, alongside evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
Requirements: Must possess the appropriate UK professional registration and maintain the legal Right to Work in the UK.
