ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play an essential role in providing first-class food and hospitality to residents. A healthy, nutritious diet is vital to resident wellbeing, and your contribution in the kitchen directly enhances their daily dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the kitchen team with meal preparation, plating, and food service.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across all kitchen and dining areas.
Support dishwashing, waste disposal, and stock rotation following food safety guidelines.
Interact warmly with residents, helping to create a welcoming and fulfilling hospitality environment.
Collaborate closely with kitchen and care home colleagues to ensure seamless mealtime operations.

We are seeking a reliable, considerate, and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards in a food preparation environment.
Requirements & Attributes:
Experience: Prior experience in a commercial kitchen, hotel, or care setting is beneficial, but not required.
Mindset: Reliable, proactive, and committed to hygiene and safety standards.
Personality: Warm, empathetic, and respectful with good communication skills.
Skills: Strong team player with good attention to detail and a hands-on work ethic.
