Are you an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) seeking an attractive bank rate (£23.69/hr) combined with complete schedule flexibility and clinical autonomy?
At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting Bank Registered Nurses (RGN) on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the clinical team at Newington Court Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent.
In this flexible nursing role, you will champion person-centered care by looking after the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of residents. Relying on your expert clinical judgment to make key care decisions, your responsibilities will include administering medication safely, developing tailored care plans, conducting risk assessments, and providing strong clinical leadership on shift.
Key Responsibilities
Holistic Clinical Care: Deliver exceptional, person-centered nursing support to residents with diverse physical and mental healthcare needs.
Medication & Governance: Safely administer, manage, and order medication in strict compliance with NMC standards and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
Care Planning & Compliance: Construct detailed care plans, perform risk assessments, and maintain adherence to CQC and DoLS/MCA regulatory frameworks.
Shift Leadership: Guide and mentor shift care staff, serving as the lead clinical professional during your shift.
Flexible Coverage: Step in across day or night shifts on a casual basis to cover planned leave, sickness, or peak operational demands.
Requirements & Qualifications
Professional Registration: Active, unencumbered NMC pin as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Clinical Expertise: Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices, care planning experience, and medication administration skills.
Regulatory Knowledge: Solid working understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
