About the Role
As Head of Housekeeping, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, sparkling, and comfortable home for residents. You will combine hands-on cleaning with strong team leadership to ensure every room and communal space meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on Housekeeping: Actively participate in day-to-day cleaning and upkeep across the home alongside your team.
Team Leadership & Motivation: Supervise, support, and inspire housekeeping staff, leading by example to uphold high standards.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all resident rooms, communal areas, and facilities are maintained to immaculate standards with high attention to detail.
Safety & Hygiene: Monitor cleaning supply stock, uphold infection control protocols, and maintain strict hygiene compliance.
About You
We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented leader with a warm and caring approach when interacting with residents, families, and staff.
Requirements:
Experience: Housekeeping experience in a care home, hospital, or hotel setting is highly advantageous.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, inspire, and work alongside a dedicated team.
Communication: Caring nature with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to cleanliness, hygiene, and room presentation.
