About the Role

As a permanent Weekend Receptionist at Shawford Springs Care Home, you will provide the warm, professional welcome that ensures every resident, family member, and visitor feels right at home.

As the primary point of contact for the home, you play a vital role in creating a positive and friendly environment. This varied role involves answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, managing the reception area, showing prospective residents and their families around, and carrying out essential administrative tasks such as typing, photocopying, and filing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional, and courteous welcome as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers.

• Manage general reception duties, including handling telephone calls with an excellent telephone manner.

• Conduct informative, welcoming tours of the home for prospective residents and their families.

• Support day-to-day administrative tasks, such as typing, photocopying, and filing.

• Work collaboratively on a permanent part-time contract of 7 hours per week focusing on weekends.
