Position: Medical Records Officer (Permanent Role)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals in Enfield—part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a meticulous Medical Records Officer for their Medical Records department.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours a week on a flexible shift pattern. In this key administrative role, you will ensure patient records are impeccably prepared, managed, and secured, giving clinical teams timely access to accurate information for clinics, admissions, and procedures.
Record Preparation: Prepare comprehensive patient files for upcoming clinics, admissions, diagnostic investigations, and medical procedures.
Documentation Management: Ensure all required documentation—such as consent forms, test results, and referral letters—is accurately filed and easily accessible.
Retrieval & Tracking: Locate, retrieve, and manage patient notes efficiently upon request from clinical, administrative, or legal teams.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive patient information and medical records with the absolute highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and data protection.
System Navigation: Utilise electronic hospital platforms (such as PAS, EMR, or EPR systems) to accurately log, search, and update patient records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across medical records, outpatient, inpatient, and clinical departments to streamline information flow.
Experience: Previous administrative background, ideally gained within a healthcare, medical, or records-focused environment.
Governance Knowledge: A solid working understanding of confidentiality guidelines, GDPR, and information governance protocols.
Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, exceptional accuracy, and robust organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Technical Skills: Comfortable navigating and updating various IT systems, databases, and electronic record platforms.
Interpersonal Skills: Professional, respectful manner with strong communication abilities.
Competitive Pay: Starting salary of up to £25,000.00 per year based on experience, qualifications, and training.
