Team Leader

Avery Healthcare is looking for a Team Leader at Aire View Care Home in Kirkstall, Leeds. You would support the home's management team to provide safe, caring and inclusive care for residents, visitors and staff.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Leading person-centred care planning, including monthly evaluations, care plan audits and action plans
• Helping residents move out of the home smoothly, covering paperwork and medication and keeping next of kin informed
• Monitoring each resident's wellbeing and updating care and records as needs change
• Following safe working practices, including moving and handling, with attention to risk

Avery asks for an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care, two years' experience in a senior position with this resident group, good spoken and written communication, and the ability to lead staff and take responsibility when the manager is absent. You should share Avery's values of being caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable.

The post is permanent and pays £15 per hour. Avery will cover the cost of your DBS check, and you will need to show proof of eligibility to work in the UK. The advert may be withdrawn early depending on the number of applications.
