About the Role

As a permanent Housekeeping Assistant at Wakehurst Hall, you will play an essential role in creating a warm, homely, and immaculate environment that enables us to meet each resident’s unique needs.

Keeping the home clean, safe, and welcoming is no small task. Through a variety of daily housekeeping and cleaning duties, you will ensure that residents, visitors, and staff enjoy a pristine and comfortable living space, allowing you to make a direct, positive impact every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning, tidying, and housekeeping tasks across bedrooms, communal areas, and facilities.

• Ensure all living spaces meet the highest hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.

• Maintain rigorous infection control protocols to protect residents and staff.

• Interact warmly and politely with residents, contributing to a cheerful, supportive atmosphere.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated support team on a permanent part-time contract.
