Loxley Park Care Home is seeking a dedicated Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator on a permanent contract to plan, organise, and deliver a wide range of engaging activities that stimulate residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being while promoting dignity, choice, and fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening closely to them and their families to develop detailed life stories.
Planning and submitting monthly activity/wellbeing plans and weekly overviews to the Home Manager.
Arranging diverse activities, events, and outings, actively encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
Maintaining a safe living and working environment while contributing to the positive, professional image of the home.

Requirements:
A valid driving licence and the ability to drive a minibus.
Previous experience working with older people in a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting.
Proven experience in organizing activities and events.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A positive attitude toward older people and a strong commitment to delivering stimulating, high-quality social events.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
