Role Overview
Position: Housekeeper
Location: Ermine House, Laughton Way, Lincoln, LN2 2EZ
Pay Rate: £13.01 per hour (Higher rates at weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent, 15 hours per week
Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026
About Ermine House
Located on the Ermine Estate just a mile and a half from Lincoln city centre, Ermine House provides compassionate, individualised residential and respite care for up to 44 residents. The home offers a homely, comfortable environment with local shops, a library, a church nearby, and direct bus routes right to the city centre.
What You Will Be Doing
Playing an essential role in keeping every room and living space clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
Championing infection control standards using specialised equipment and materials to ensure a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Interacting warmly with residents—some of whom love to lend a hand with simple cleaning and laundry tasks!
Becoming part of a supportive team that values warmth, kindness, and dedication.
What You Bring
Experience: Comfortable in an elderly care setting with a caring and sensitive manner. No prior housekeeping experience is necessary as full training is provided!
Key Traits: You take pride in your work, have strong communication skills, enjoy teamwork, and are eager to learn and excel every day.
