As a Kitchen Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will act as the vital link between the main kitchen and our residents. You will assist chefs in plating meals, keeping preparation areas spotless, managing stock rotation, and catering for special events like summer BBQs and Christmas parties to ensure every resident enjoys a wonderful dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the welcoming link between the main kitchen and our residents.
Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and ensuring all kitchen and prep areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic.
Monitor stock rotation and comply fully with company policies, COSHH, and HACCP guidelines.
Help cater for special events, seasonal celebrations, and community activities within the home.
What We Are Looking For
A genuine passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
A warm, communicative nature who understands the importance of high standards and cherishing the little moments that make residents feel at home.
