Associate Specialist

Supportive Bridge is recruiting on behalf of Elysium Healthcare for an Associate Specialist to join the team at St Neots Neurological Centre in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified medical professional with experience in psychiatry to provide high-quality care for individuals with complex mental health needs. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to assessments, treatment planning and ongoing clinical care while supporting service development.

About the Role

As an Associate Specialist, you will work under the supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist to deliver psychiatric assessments, support patient treatment plans, prepare clinical documentation and participate in on-call duties. You will also contribute to clinical governance, teaching, research and service improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric assessments and clinical reviews.
Support the delivery of personalised care programmes.
Prepare discharge summaries and clinical reports.
Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
Arrange and review clinical investigations and test results.
Support physical healthcare and patient monitoring.
Contribute to audits, teaching and clinical governance.
Participate in the on-call rota and provide medical cover.

Requirements

MBBS or equivalent qualification
GMC registration with licence to practise
Experience working in Mental Health
Appropriate psychiatric experience
Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists for CPD
Strong communication and teamwork skills
