Position: Domiciliary Care Assistant / Bank Care Assistant
Location: Orchard Meadows Extra Care Housing, Prescott Close, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 0RD (A rated "GOOD" by the CQC, featuring 40 self-contained apartments with no travel between external locations!)
Pay Rate: £13.99 per hour (Monday–Friday) | £14.99 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Bank / Flexible (0 Hours - Shift patterns: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, giving you complete freedom to choose when you work)

About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and flexible Bank / Relief Domiciliary Care Assistant for Orchard Meadows in Banbury. Orchard Meadows is an Extra Care Housing scheme providing self-contained apartments designed to help clients live as independently as possible, with our dedicated care team on hand round the clock.
Because all our clients live within the same vibrant building, you won't need to spend time or money traveling between different locations! You will assist clients with daily routines, personal care, companionship, and light household duties, helping them lead happy and fulfilled lives while enjoying ultimate flexibility over your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centred Care: Support clients with daily living routines and personal care tasks with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Companionship & Wellbeing: Build meaningful relationships, provide friendly conversation, and support clients to socialise in communal areas or enjoy privacy.
Household Support: Assist with light household duties and practical day-to-day tasks to promote independent living.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the on-site care team in a supportive, single-site environment with zero travel required between shifts.

Experience: Both experienced care workers and those completely new to the care sector are warmly welcomed! We provide comprehensive induction training and ongoing support.
Personality: A warm, empathetic, reliable, and approachable nature with a genuine passion for helping others maintain their independence.
Communication: Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented, positive attitude.
