In this key leadership role, you will supervise day-to-day shift operations, delegate tasks to care staff, and collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals. You will play a vital part in managing resident care plans, administering medications safely, and carrying out risk assessments to ensure residents remain active, safe, and independent.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise shift operations, allocate duties effectively, and handle the safe administration and recording of medications.
Case manage residents, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with healthcare specialists and families to deliver optimal care plans.
Partner with the senior leadership team to enhance service quality while working directly alongside care assistants on the floor.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable, alongside proven experience in leading or supervising team members.
Strong organizational capability, digital literacy, and a practical understanding of care planning workflows.
Experience in or willingness to undergo training for medication administration, backed by a strong commitment to resident wellbeing.
