In this key leadership role, you will supervise day-to-day shift operations, delegate tasks to care staff, and collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals. You will play a vital part in managing resident care plans, administering medications safely, and carrying out risk assessments to ensure residents remain active, safe, and independent.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise shift operations, allocate duties effectively, and handle the safe administration and recording of medications.

• Case manage residents, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with healthcare specialists and families to deliver optimal care plans.

• Partner with the senior leadership team to enhance service quality while working directly alongside care assistants on the floor.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable, alongside proven experience in leading or supervising team members.

• Strong organizational capability, digital literacy, and a practical understanding of care planning workflows.

• Experience in or willingness to undergo training for medication administration, backed by a strong commitment to resident wellbeing.
