Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Bupa to recruit a talented and dynamic Chef Manager for a bank contract at Hadley Lawns Care Home in Barnet.

As Chef Manager, you will bring your passion for fresh food to the heart of the home, crafting varied, nutritious menus tailored to the individual dietary needs and preferences of residents. Your natural leadership will inspire and mentor the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that make every resident feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and preparing varied, nutritional menus utilizing fresh ingredients, catering to residents' specific dietary needs and personal preferences.
Leading, training, and mentoring the kitchen team to maintain world-class culinary and presentation standards.
Applying an innovative approach to cooking while keeping all operations running smoothly.
Managing mandatory administrative duties, including budgets, stock ordering, deliveries, and rigorous compliance with COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Catering for special events, seasonal activities, and milestones such as summer fetes, Christmas parties, and residents' birthdays.
A genuine passion for cooking with previous professional experience working in a fresh food kitchen.
Relevant food hygiene certificates.
Natural leadership capabilities, an innovative mindset, and a genuine enthusiasm for mentoring others.
A warm, empathetic personality with a desire to connect with residents and share a love of food through every meal.
