Salary: Circa £46,000 (Dependent on skills and experience)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with BAE Systems to source an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer (Supportability) for their Maintenance Optimisation Hub within Asset Management.

Working within the Maintenance Management Function, you will leverage data exploitation, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving techniques to develop effective through-life solutions. Your data-driven recommendations will directly optimize platform availability, reliability, and maintainability, empowering the customer community to make informed engineering and maintenance decisions.
Develop evidence-based maintenance optimisation recommendations to enhance platform performance, availability, reliability, and maintainability.
Analyse maintenance data and performance trends to guide planning and decision-making across the customer domain.
Support the deployment of the Maintenance Management Strategy, focusing on robust data collection and analysis.
Investigate system performance and provide critical insights to support Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Reviews and Maintenance Reviews and Acceptance Board (MRAB) activities.
Produce detailed analysis reports, Technical Queries, and business updates while fostering cross-functional collaboration and mentoring junior colleagues and apprentices.
Education: ONC, HNC, HND, or Degree-level qualification in an Engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent practical working experience.
Lifecycle Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle and statutory compliance regulations (Safety, Health, Environment, and Security).
ILS & Tools: Understanding of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) principles—especially RCM—and familiarity with maintenance management toolsets and Microsoft applications.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to apply Root Cause Analysis techniques within a supportability engineering or ILS environment.
Security Clearance: Must achieve a minimum of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
