At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting a permanent Care Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the day team at Whitewater Place Care Home in Odiham.
In this highly rewarding role, you will help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive top-quality care, respect, and companionship. From helping with personal care, daily mobility, and meal times to following tailored care plans and spending dedicated one-on-one time sharing stories with residents, every shift offers variety and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centered Care: Support residents with daily tasks, personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs in accordance with individual care plans.
Warm Companionship: Spend quality one-on-one time with residents, fostering a positive, comforting, and socially engaging atmosphere.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with nursing and care colleagues to ensure a high-standard, safe, and welcoming living space.
Accurate Documentation: Maintain clear, respectful, and up-to-date daily care records for resident handovers.
About You
Experience: Prior experience in caring for older adults (in a professional care environment or personal capacity).
Key Strengths: Excellent communication skills, strong empathy, and a proactive "can-do" mindset.
Qualities: Reliable, warm-hearted, and deeply committed to delivering dignified elderly care.
