About the Role
Are you an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) looking for an outstanding bank rate (£25.35/hr) alongside complete shift flexibility and clinical independence?
At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting Bank Registered Nurses (RGN) on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the clinical care team at Marnel Lodge Care Home in Basingstoke.
In this flexible nursing position, you will oversee the holistic care—physical, psychological, and social—of residents in a supportive, quality-focused setting. Exercising your clinical judgment to make sound care decisions, your duties will encompass administering medicines safely, conducting risk assessments, updating tailored care plans, and leading shift care staff with professional excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Holistic Clinical Nursing: Deliver person-centered care that addresses the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of residents.
Medication & Governance: Administer medication safely and manage clinical stock in accordance with Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines and NMC standards.
Care Planning & Compliance: Formulate comprehensive care plans, conduct clinical risk assessments, and ensure compliance with DoLS/MCA frameworks and CQC standards.
Shift Leadership: Supervise and mentor care assistants on duty, acting as the lead clinical professional during your shift.
Flexible Coverage: Pick up day or night shifts on a casual basis to provide essential cover for annual leave, sickness, or peak operational demands.
Requirements & Qualifications
Professional Registration: Active, unencumbered NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Clinical Skills: Up-to-date clinical practice knowledge, medication administration expertise, and proven care planning capabilities.
Regulatory Understanding: Strong knowledge of statutory regulatory frameworks, including DoLS/MCA guidelines.
