The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to work directly with a senior Director operating within a highly sensitive area of UK Government.

This position goes considerably beyond traditional PA support. You will work closely with the Director, accompanying them into senior meetings, managing a complex and fast-moving diary, capturing critical discussions and decisions, and ensuring actions are rigorously followed through. Your primary objective is simple: give the Director back the time and capacity to concentrate on the issues that genuinely require their attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Complex diary and priority management in a fast-moving environment.

• Attending senior and sensitive meetings to capture critical discussions.

• High-quality note and minute-taking, ensuring absolute accuracy.

• Capturing, tracking, and following through on decisions, actions, and commitments.

• Preparing comprehensive briefings, agendas, and meeting materials.

• Coordinating senior stakeholders with tact and diplomacy.

• Managing sensitive information and high-level correspondence securely.

• Anticipating requirements and proactively resolving issues before they escalate.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an EA or PA supporting Directors, CEOs, senior Government officials, or equivalent leaders.

• Background within Government, defence, law enforcement, intelligence, or another highly sensitive operational environment.

• Excellent judgment, complete discretion, and exceptional attention to detail.

• The confidence to operate comfortably around very senior people while maintaining a calm, professional presence.

• Essential Security Clearance: Active SC or DV clearance is critical, with existing DV/STRAP access being highly attractive.
