ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Bank Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN), you will travel across care homes in the region to lead shifts, maintain outstanding clinical care standards, and support local care teams. This flexible casual role gives you the freedom to work across different settings while making a direct impact on resident wellbeing.
Core Responsibilities:
Regional Clinical Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary teams across various regional care homes to ensure top-tier care on every shift.
Resident Support & Onboarding: Welcoming and helping new residents settle in while ensuring personalized physical and mental health care plans are executed seamlessly.
Care Planning & Assessment: Produce and update detailed care plans and comprehensive risk assessments tailored to individual resident needs.
Team Development: Support, mentor, and upskill care team members across every care home you visit.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an ambitious, adaptable, and highly skilled Registered Nurse with strong leadership qualities and excellent regional flexibility.
Requirements & Experience:
Registration: Valid, active NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
Teaching/Mentoring: A recognized qualification in teaching, mentoring, or clinical supervision.
Clinical & Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current clinical practices, safe medicine administration, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional communication and motivational skills with a proven ability to lead teams by example in diverse settings.
