The Role
Are you warm, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives? Greensand House Care Home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant on a flexible bank contract to deliver high standards of personal care, ensure the dignity and independence of residents, and contribute fully to a collaborative care team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with personal hygiene care while ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
Recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas (such as weight loss, pressure sores, fall risks, and signs of infection) and escalating them in a timely manner.
Acting courteously and respectfully toward residents and their visitors.
Practising safe systems of work across a wide range of daily care tasks.

Requirements:
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Initiative, empathy, and deep respect for residents and colleagues.
Ability to follow reasonable instructions efficiently and adapt flexibly to varying responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
