Activities Co-ordinator

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is pleased to recruit on behalf of Care UK, an award-winning care provider seeking a creative Activities Co-ordinator (Lifestyle Co-ordinator) to join their team in Edinburgh, UK. This full-time position (32 hours per week, with alternate weekend working required) offers an attractive rate of £13.65 per hour, structured training through Care UK’s Learning Academy, and clear career progression opportunities.

In this exciting and rewarding role, you will design and implement individual activity plans that encourage residents to remain as active and independent as possible. Working alongside families, residents, and local communities, you will bring creative thinking and a sense of fun to develop diverse activities, foster social interaction, and create a stimulating, homely atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with residents to identify unique goals and build personalized activity plans catering to diverse interests.

• Organize and support daily physical, social, and creative activities in a safe, motivating environment.

• Collaborate with families, residents, and local community groups to deliver meaningful experiences and events.

Requirements

• A creative, enthusiastic, and proactive approach paired with a mature, sensible, and committed attitude.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to motivate and engage residents.

• No prior experience required; enthusiasm to undergo induction and ongoing training via the internal Learning Academy.
