Quality Assurance: Support delivery planning, evaluate learner feedback and performance data, and drive continuous improvement across all training materials.
We are looking for a creative, tech-savvy L&D specialist with a solid foundation in instructional design, training delivery, and stakeholder management.
Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of course design methodologies, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and digital learning tools.
Qualifications: An instructional or teaching qualification (preferably DSAT aligned) to a minimum standard of a Level 3 recognized qualification.
Pedagogical Understanding: Solid understanding of modern L&D models, blended learning frameworks, and user-centred design principles.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Commercial L&D experience and prior exposure to DSAT are highly desirable.
Vetting Requirement: Ability to successfully obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and formal Security Clearance (SC), alongside completion of an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
Financial Package: Competitive starting salary of up to £40,000 per annum.
Working Style: Flexible hybrid working structure (MOD Abbey Wood base, Army HQ travel, and 2–3 days working from home).
Leave & Pension: 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, alongside up to a 6% contributory pension scheme.
Training & Career Growth: Access to over 1,100 internal training courses, funding for professional qualifications and apprenticeships, structured mentoring, and clear internal progression pathways.

Perks & Community: Savings across approximately 1,000 high street retailers, a paid volunteering day, tax-free payroll giving, and active employee inclusion networks.
Guaranteed Interview Scheme: Applicants with disabilities, veterans, and individuals with convictions who meet the minimum job criteria are guaranteed an interview.
Ban the Box: We champion fair access to employment for those with unspent criminal convictions (subject to security clearance exemptions). Reasonable adjustments are fully supported throughout the recruitment journey.
