Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is pleased to assist our valued client in recruiting an experienced MHST Operational Team Lead (Band 7) to join their CAMHS Mental Health Support Team in Nottingham, UK. Based at Highbury Hospital within an established NHS Foundation Trust, this permanent post offers an outstanding opportunity for a senior nurse or registered Allied Health Professional (AHP) to lead the expansion of early intervention mental health services across local schools.

In this full-time role working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, plus 1% on-call commitment), you will manage the day-to-day operations and clinical performance of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST). You will lead multidisciplinary staff, oversee clinical supervision, and collaborate with schools, educational psychologists, commissioners, and wider system partners to enhance emotional wellbeing and mental health outcomes for children and young people.

Role Description

As a Band 7 MHST Operational Team Lead, you will manage operational performance, lead multidisciplinary staff, oversee supervisory frameworks, and drive service expansion and integrated working across education and mental health pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations, staff performance, and clinical supervision for the CAMHS Mental Health Support Team across Nottinghamshire.

• Build strong collaborative partnerships with schools, local educational authorities, commissioners, and CAMHS leadership to embed evidence-based care models.

• Manage productivity, demand-capacity models, and service developments while participating in the Mental Health 1st on-call rota (+1% enhancement).

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification with active registration as a Registered Nurse, Social Worker (DipSW/Degree), or HCPC-registered Allied Health Professional (AHP).

• Substantial post-registration clinical leadership experience within Community CAMHS, MHST, or child and adolescent mental health settings.

• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for business travel, alongside strong team management, change management, and safeguarding capabilities.
