Kitchen Assistant - Bank

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Kitchen Assistant - Bank to join their care home team in London, UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment and is passionate about providing a positive dining experience for residents. You will support the kitchen team in delivering nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving while supporting the chefs during daily kitchen operations.

• Maintain clean and organised food preparation areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Help with stock rotation and assist in catering for special events and seasonal activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a kitchen with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Passion for food preparation and delivering excellent customer service.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
