Night Nurse (RGN)

Barchester Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN) to work nights at Strachan House Care Home on Craigcrook Road, Edinburgh. This is a permanent role of 36 hours a week.

What you will do:

• Look after residents' physical, psychological and social needs
• Make clinical decisions using your professional judgement
• Write tailored care plans and give medicines safely
• Keep the home safe and supportive for residents with a range of needs

What they ask for:

• Current NMC registration
• Up-to-date clinical knowledge and experience writing care plans and risk assessments
• Understanding of DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines

Pay and rewards stated by the employer: £21.80 per hour, NMC registration paid every year, free training, wellbeing support, retail discounts, Nurse Mentor and Refer a Friend bonuses, and an offer to pay Health and Care Worker visa fees for eligible nurses. Closing date: 7 December 2026.
