Role Description
Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is delighted to act on behalf of our client, a highly regarded healthcare facility based in London, to recruit an enthusiastic and patient-focused Assistant Physiotherapist. In this hands-on clinical role, you will work side-by-side with experienced, registered physiotherapists, playing a critical part in delivering personalized rehabilitation programs and optimizing patient recovery journeys across diverse care settings. You will act as an integral bridge between patients and senior clinicians, fostering a reassuring, comfortable, and supportive environment while developing your own expert skill set in human movement and therapy.
Key Responsibilities
Assist qualified physiotherapists in implementing tailored treatment routines, guiding patients safely through targeted mobilization, therapeutic stretches, and prescribed exercise programs.
Monitor patient engagement and physical progress, accurately documenting observations in treatment records and assisting with administrative coordination such as appointment scheduling.
Prepare therapy rooms and specialized clinical equipment prior to sessions, upholding rigorous safety, sanitization, and cleanliness protocols at all times.
Requirements
Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, empathetic demeanor and a genuine dedication to patient care.
Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to precisely follow detailed clinical instructions and work effectively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team.
