About the Role
We are recruiting a permanent Night Senior Carer to join the overnight leadership team at Newton House Care Home in Grantham.
In this pivotal supervisory role, you will work alongside the Deputy General Manager to inspire, guide, and support a team of dedicated Care Assistants during night shifts. You will also take responsibility for key clinical support areas—such as medication administration, care assessments, and care plan reviews—ensuring exceptional, person-centred care in a safe and reassuring overnight environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and motivate Care Assistants on night shifts.
Support the clinical team with night medication administration, resident assessments, and care plan updates.
Ensure high standards of person-centred care while respecting the dignity, choices, and privacy of all residents.
Oversee night routines, safety checks, and handover reports for the morning team.
About You
To join us as a Night Senior Carer, you will bring:
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Specific practical knowledge and experience in clinical care for older adults.
A warm-hearted, compassionate personality with strong leadership and decision-making skills suited to a night shift environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
