Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a dynamic, empowering, and experienced permanent-track Team Leader for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Southport.
In this vital leadership role, you will lead, support, and develop a dedicated substance use team within the Sefton Service. By fostering a focused, values-driven culture, you will ensure high-quality service delivery, operational line management, reflective supervision, and continuous service improvement to achieve the best possible outcomes for adults navigating substance misuse and recovery.
Team Leadership & Supervision: Provide operational line management, regular reflective supervision, appraisals, and performance management to empower staff.
Service Quality & Performance: Monitor service quality via data analysis, lead practice observations, and implement continuous improvement plans.
Safeguarding & Risk Management: Collaborate with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to manage risks and ensure team competence in harm-reduction interventions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Maintain robust governance systems, uphold professional standards, and build positive partnerships with local stakeholders.
Experience & Knowledge: Practical experience working with adults experiencing substance misuse difficulties, alongside an in-depth knowledge of drugs, alcohol, and psychosocial interventions.
Leadership Skills: Proven line management experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and foster a strong learning culture within a team.
Safeguarding Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices with experience embedding them operationally.
Requirements: Calm under pressure, flexible communicator. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
