Position: Materials Assistant (Permanent Role)
Location: Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals, Enfield
Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, flexible shift pattern)
Salary: Up to £25,600.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training, and qualification)
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Kings Oak & Cavell Hospitals in Enfield—part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a diligent Materials Assistant for their Materials department.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours a week on a flexible shift pattern. In this vital role, you will be an active member of the Materials team, ensuring seamless day-to-day stock management, efficient order processing, and top-tier materials support for all internal hospital departments.
Department Operations: Actively participate in the day-to-day running of the Materials Department to maintain smooth operations.
Service Delivery: Provide an effective, high-quality materials management and stock control service to all internal customers across the hospitals.
Stock Availability: Ensure consistent stock availability by processing correct orders and replenishing pre-approved products and supplies for central stores and hospital departments.
Documentation & Records: Maintain all departmental files and paperwork accurately and systematically for easy access and audit readiness.
Compliance: Fully comply with all relevant mandatory training and hospital safety policies.
Education: Minimum of GCSE / O-Level Mathematics and English (or equivalent qualification).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using a PC, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Working Style: Ability to work independently using your own initiative without close supervision.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service orientation, paired with good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Competitive Pay: Starting salary of up to £25,600.00 per year based on experience, qualifications, and training.
