About the Role

As a permanent Food & Beverage Assistant at Wakehurst Hall, you will play an essential role in creating a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience for our residents, families, and visitors.

Working closely with our hospitality and kitchen teams, you will support the day-to-day delivery of food and beverage services across the home. From serving meals and refreshments to ensuring dining spaces are clean, comfortable, and inviting, your friendly approach and attention to detail will ensure every mealtime is a positive, memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring meals and refreshments are presented to a high standard.

• Prepare, set up, and maintain clean, welcoming, and comfortable dining areas.

• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and hospitality teams to support smooth daily operations.

• Interact warmly and politely with residents, building positive relationships and noting individual preferences.

• Adhere to food hygiene, health, and safety practices at all times.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience working within a hospitality, catering, or customer service environment.

• Values: A friendly, caring, professional, and approachable manner.

• Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and a passion for excellent customer service.

• Commitment: Available for a permanent full-time contract of 35 hours per week.
