About the Role
As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will step in during peak periods, sickness, or annual leave cover to deliver high-quality clinical care, exercise professional judgment, and champion the physical, psychological, and social well-being of residents.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Clinical Care & Assessment: Developing, evaluating, and updating tailored care plans and comprehensive risk assessments.
Safe Medication Administration: Administering medications safely in strict accordance with NMC and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
Clinical Decision-Making: Relying on your expert professional judgment to address complex clinical needs with full autonomy.
Regulatory Compliance: Upholding clinical excellence while working within key legal and regulatory frameworks, including MCA and DoLS guidelines.
Flexible Shift Cover: Providing trusted clinical cover across day or night shifts based on your availability and the care home's needs.
About You
We are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled RGN who takes pride in person-centred care and maintains up-to-date knowledge of modern clinical practices.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Professional Registration: Current active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of current clinical practices, risk assessment protocols, and regulatory standards (MCA/DoLS).
Experience: Proven track record in creating detailed care plans and managing resident care within a residential, nursing, or clinical setting.
Personal Qualities: Dedicated, warm, and committed to a thoughtful, person-centred approach to nursing.
