We are excited to represent Avery Healthcare in their search for an experienced and motivated Regional Chef Manager to oversee and support culinary operations across their luxury care homes in the North Region.
Are you an accomplished chef looking for an impactful leadership role where you can travel, mentor teams, and elevate dining standards? Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Regional Chef Manager to cover home-level chef manager positions during vacancies, annual leave, or extended absences. In this role, you will take charge of daily kitchen operations, ensure the highest culinary standards, and deliver exceptional home-cooked, nutritional meals for residents and visitors while adhering to agreed budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in conjunction with home departments to consistently deliver a high-standard dining experience.
Providing supervision, mentoring, and coaching to kitchen team members to develop their skills to full potential.
Ensuring all food safety and health & safety documentation is up to date and meets EHO guidelines.
Managing, coordinating, and overseeing catering rotas.
Overseeing food purchasing, deliveries, and receipting via nominated suppliers and online company systems.
Preparing and cooking daily meals, special occasion catering, and bespoke items (such as birthday cakes).
Catering to specialized resident nutritional needs, including special diets and allergies adhering to IDDSI guidelines.
Bringing creativity and flexibility to develop special menus tailored to resident requirements.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef in a care home environment.
Relevant qualifications including NVQs in Cooking, Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety.
IDDSI training and solid knowledge of texture-modified diets.
A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for regional travel.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
